Math Goes SPLAT! (Outside - Between the Clara E. Mackenzie and North Buildings)
Ever wonder how tall the Clara E. MacKenzie Building is? With an SC4 instructor, use a watermelon – and the quadratic formula – to verify the height of the building. This is an outdoor demonstration that is sure to be a smash! *Please scroll down to read the activity details listed below.*

Math Goes SPLAT!
Location: Outside - Between the Clara E. Mackenzie and North Buildings
Length of Each Session: 20-minute activity
Available Sessions: There are eight available sessions (10 AM, 10:30 AM, 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 12 PM, 12:30 PM, 1 PM, and 1:30 PM).
Registration: The group's main contact person will complete the above form to register. When prompted, please type in the total number of guests in your party before adding to cart - maximum of 5 guests per registration.
Check-In Process: Check-in will begin approximately 5-minutes prior to each session. Late arrivals will not be permitted to avoid disruption of other guests.
Session Capacity: Each session can accommodate up to 50 guests.
Activity Notes:
- Program delivered by an SC4 faculty member.
- This program is available for guests of all ages and abilities.
- Please be aware of your session's designated start time. We anticipate each session to fill.
- A confirmation email will be sent after registration is successful. Please bring a copy of the confirmation email (printed or digital) for check-in purposes.
