Cranbrook's Dinos Drawn Wrong (Clara E. Mackenzie Building, Room 213)

Dinos Drawn Wrong is an exploreLAB program at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, that examines how art has shaped—and sometimes distorted—our understanding of dinosaurs. Through engaging examples, the program reveals how early, often inaccurate illustrations overlooked emerging scientific evidence, from upright posture to the presence of feathers. Cranbrook's Dinos Drawn Wrong

All sessions have filled  

Location: Clara E. Mackenzie Building, Room 213

Length of Each Session: 30-minute activity

Available Sessions: Sessions start every 30 minutes, beginning at 10:00 AM. 

Registration: The group's main contact person will complete the above form to register.  When prompted, please type in the total number of guests in your party before adding to cart - maximum of 5 guests per registration.  

Check-In Process: Check-in will begin approximately 5-minutes prior to each session.  Late arrivals will not be permitted to avoid disruption of other guests.

Session Capacity: Each session can accommodate up to 28 guests.  

Activity Notes:

  • This program is available for guests of all ages and abilities.
  • Please be aware of your session's designated start time.  We anticipate each session to fill.   
  • A confirmation email will be sent after registration is successful.  Please bring a copy of the confirmation email (printed or digital) for check-in purposes.
