2025 SC4 Theatre Summer Camp 3-week session (for learners in grades 6 - 12)

This camp offers basic instruction on stage presence, acting techniques, drama lessons, voice projection, improvisations, costume design, and stage management, all leading to a final staged production at the end of the session. Instructor Debra McNair is an accomplished playwright with over 30 years of experience. She is the founder of New Beginnings Theater which also toured in Long Island, New York at colleges and churches with a Stage Play that she wrote, produced and directed entitled “Arise People of God Arise”. Debra McNair also completed a project CD entitled:"Arise Women of God Arise" that was released in 2007. Recently opening NBT Performing Arts Training Center located in the City of Port Huron, Michigan, to train and cultivate new talent. Instructor Kimberly Jackson has given years of service and her talent to the community in various ways. From working with many Youth Programs such as S.O.N.S Outreach, and S.C.C.O.R.E Organization, and her Church Zion Cathedral of Praise. Kim has Also been very Active in local Community Theater such as Civic Theater, New Beginnings Theater, where she has trained and instructed youth and adults in the performing Arts, through dance and song.
