2025 CSI STEM Summer Camp 1-day session (for learners in grades 6 - 8) - Aug 4th
Calling all future forensic scientists! Step into the world of crime scene investigation at our CSI: STEM Lab, a one-day camp where science and mystery collide. Put your detective skills to the test as you analyze fingerprints, decode secret messages, and uncover hidden clues to solve a thrilling mock case. Using real forensic techniques like chromatography, fiber analysis, and DNA extraction (from fruit!), you’ll learn how scientists crack cases using chemistry, biology, and a sharp eye for detail. This hands-on camp is perfect for 6th–8th graders who love solving puzzles, thinking like detectives, and discovering the real science behind forensic investigations. SESSION DATES (Registration is for only 1 session): Monday, August 4
HOURS: Daily, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LOCATION: SC4's Experience Center, located on the first floor of the Clara E. Mackenzie Building.
COST: $90 per camper
LUNCH: Please plan on bringing lunches, preferred snacks and beverages. Refrigeration available.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration must be completed by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1st.
Spots are limited to the first 24 registered campers. Camper must be entering grades 6 - 8 in the 25-26 school year.
